Zhenhai District

Zhenhai District is a district of China, located to the mouth of the Yongjiang River. It is 12 miles north-east of Ningbo, Zhejiang. It lies at the foot of a hill on a tongue of land, and is partly protected from the sea on the north by a dike about 3 miles long, composed entirely of large blocks of granite. It has a population of 200,000. Its jurisdiction encompasses 2 towns and 4 neighbourhoods.

The Zhenhai Coastal Battery is the site of the Chinese naval victory in the Battle of Zhenhai in the Sino-French War.

Zhejiang Horses

Zhejiang Wanma Cyclones or Zhejiang Wanma or Zhejiang Cyclones or Zhejiang Cyclone are a basketball team in the South Division of the Chinese Basketball Association, based in Yiwu, Zhejiang. They are also sometimes known as the Zhejiang Horses because of the ''wanma'' in their name, which means "ten thousand horses".

In the 2004–2005 season, the Zhejiang Cyclones finished in sixth place in the South Division, out of the playoffs. In 2005–2006 they suffered the exact same fate.

Yuanjia'ao

Yuanjia'ao is a village in Fenghua municipality, Zhejiang province, China. Situated at approx. 280m above sea level in the Tiantai Mountain range, its main products are bamboo and timber. The village is traditionally considered the ancestral home of the of the greater Ningbo, who have been estimated to number some 20,000.

The village itself is split in two by the Tangqi River, a small stream which can flood in the autumn months. Yuanjia'ao is famous in Fenghua because it is a thoroughfare to Malongkeng, a religious site near the peak of Mount Dalei. There is a narrow concrete road to Yuanjia'ao from Xiaowangmiao in the north, which follows the Tangqi River all the way to Xujiashan in the south. On the 18th day of the sixth lunar month, when the religious festival to honour the dragon king of Malongkeng is held, the road becomes heavily congested.

Of the 400 families of Yuanjia'ao, over 90% are surnamed . According to the ''Yuanshi jiapu'' of 1923, all the Yuans of the village are descended from a certain Yuan Rong , who moved from Xinchang county and settled at the site in the tenth century. The village also has wider significance as the ancestral home of the Yuan clans of Ningbo and its hinterlands. Efforts have been made in recent years to revive and restore the clan monuments and religious buildings which were destroyed during the Cultural Revolution. In 1997, a clan hall was reopened, and the Duling Temple and its connected memorial arch was erected. Since 2001, clan members have been studying the last remaining copy of the clan genealogy held by the Fenghua government and liaising with members of the Cilin Yuan clan to republish the genealogy.

Xiuzhou District

Xiuzhou District is a district in Jiaxing, Zhejiang, China. It is located between Shanghai and Hangzhou. There is 90KM to Shanghai in the northeast, 80KM to Hangzhou in the southwest and 70KM to Suzhou in the north. It is an important urban district of Jiaxing city. Suichang County

Suichang County in Zhejiang Province, China, is probably best known for the place that Tang Xianzu wrote his most famous play "The Peony Pavilion" about five hundred years ago in Ming Dynasty. Tang Xianzu is regarded as "Shakespeare in the Orient" for his masterpiece. Tang served as Suichang county top official for 3 years and left legendary stories there that still passed on by generations. Today's Suichang county has entered modern society with vehicles, highways connecting to capital city of Hangzhou, and most renowned for its bamboo forest and natural sceneries such as White Horse Mountain and Nine Dragon Mountain which recorded as one of the site where wild humans were said to be present in the '50s and '60s of 20th Century.

Jindong District

Jindong District is an administrative district in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province of China. It has an area of 661.8 square kilometers, and a population of 300,000.

Located in central Zhejiang Province, it borders Yiwu City to the east, Yongkang City to the south, and Wucheng District to the west.

Jiaojiang District

Jiaojiang District is a district of in Zhejiang Province, China. It is the seat of the city.

The district has its mainland area of 266.5 km?, and its islands area of 13.6 km?. The total area is 280.1 km?.
As of 2003, it has a population of approximately 471,500.

It has an average annual precipitation of 1500 mm. The average temperature in January is 6 °C, in July it is 28 °C, and average annual temperature is 17 °C.

Until 1980, the district was under the administration of Huangyan, and was called Haimen District.
When Haimen District was upgraded to a county-level city in 1981, it was renamed as Jiaojiang City to avoid confusion with Haimen in Jiangsu province.
In 1994, the prefecture-level city of Taizhou was established, and Jiaojiang City became its district.

In 1989, Huangyan County was upgraded to a county-level city. As of 1990 census, the population of Huangyuan City was 888,631.

Bayi Rockets

Bayi Shuanglu Rockets or Bayi Rockets or Bayi Army Rockets or Bayi Shuanglu are a basketball team in the South Division of the Chinese Basketball Association, based in Ningbo, Zhejiang. ''Bayi'' means "August First", so the English name of the team could be translated as August First Rockets, but this name is very rarely seen in English-language Chinese media. They are occasionally called Bayi Deers because of their corporate sponsorship by the Pairdeer brand of , whose logo is a pair of deer .

The Bayi Rockets are an army team and their players serve in the People's Liberation Army . The "Bayi" in their name represents the anniversary of the founding of the PLA. There are also other army teams with the Bayi name in other sports leagues, such as Bayi China Telecom in the , the men's soccer team Bayi Zhengbang, and the women's soccer team Bayi Xiangtan.

The Bayi Rockets have a long history that predates the currently-existing CBA. When they entered the CBA in its inaugural season in 1995–1996, they had already won 34 national titles. The Bayi Rockets dominated the CBA in its earlier years, winning no less than seven championships in the first eight years of the CBA, including the first six CBA championships in a row, and the first five of those without losing a single playoff match. They also had a home-game unbeaten streak of 65 games that ended in 2002. In recent years, however, other CBA teams have become more competitive, and Bayi has won only one championship in the last four seasons .

In the 2004–2005 season, the Bayi Rockets finished in third place in the South Division and defeated the Beijing Ducks in the quarter-finals, but lost in the semi-finals to the Guangdong Southern Tigers, the defending champions. This was the first time since the founding of the CBA in 1995 that the Bayi Rockets did not make the finals.

In the 2005–2006 season, the Bayi Rockets made the finals but lost to the Guangdong Southern Tigers.
